Our Product Family Keeps Growing

Today we launched two new products into the MagCloud family–Digest Landscape and Flyer.

Digest Landscape is compact and ultra-portable at 8.5″ wide x 5.5″ tall. It’s perfect for portfolios, brochures, catalogs, books and more.  Simply upload an 8.5″ wide x 5.5″ tall PDF and we’ll trim it down by 0.125″ on the top and bottom and 0.25″ on the outside edge to a final size of 8.25″ wide x 5.25″ tall so it’s ready for our professional printing presses.  We’ve also updated our website preview app so users will be able to preview your publication in all it’s landscape glory.

Our double-sided, single sheet Flyer product is ideal for brief messages or content that changes often such as sales promotions, menus, product data sheets, event schedules and more. Simply upload an 8.5″ wide x 11″ tall PDF and we’ll get it ready for printing by trimming it down by 0.125″ on all sides to a final size of 8.25″ wide x 10.75″ tall.  We print Flyer publications as a single sheet with a front and back side, so if you only upload one page don’t worry we’ll automatically add a blank page for the back side.  The Flyer product does require a minimum print order of 10 copies which will be bundled into one shipping order.

We hope you enjoy these new products and would love to hear how you plan to use them in our comments section below.

This is great – I’ve been getting the fold trimmed off at my local Officeworks, but i can never guarantee just how much they will trim – this means i can now get a much more accurate finished result.

    Good work guys!

I have published a hard copy genealogical book, with information on several families. I used the trial publication to break out one particular family and was happy with the results of the printing. I have added much new information to another family, and would like to have this printed also. The trial printing had no information about how to incorporate a cover for the publication. It was like printing from my home printer, except the print was front and back. How do you specify a cover???

Hi Ed, please see our PDF Guide help section for details on how to set-up your publication. The first page is always the cover of your publication.

I would love to see a 11×17 single sided trimmed to full bleed without a fold.

What if I have multiple files to print. Can I group these together so that I may receive them all at once? For example: 20 PDF files, 60 copies per file. Please let me know. Thanks

One sided fliers are 20 Cents? Also, if I submit multiple fliers can I have them shipped all together?

      Hi Richard,

A flyer is considered 2 pages (1 front and 1 back) so cost is .40 cents. You can order and ship multiple fliers to one address or one flier to multiple addresses.

      Cheers

        Hi Patty,

If I am leaving one side blank does that still count as a 2 sided flier? The product that I will be printing will always be one sided. Please let me know. Also, is there any way to have the MagCloud barcode omitted from the product?

        Hi Richard,

A flyer is always 2 pages even if one side is blank. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our support team they would be happy to assist you…support@magcloud.com.

The new landscape digest format is a great addition to your product family! As a student in a Masters program in visual studies, and independent publisher- MagCloud has been an amazing resource for high quality book printing at an affordable cost for everything from single edition artist books to small runs of professional photo books. After experiencing multiple problems with other publishing on demand sites, MagCloud has yet to disappoint! Growing and expanding the product family to compete with those sites is sure to provide an edge due to the superior print quality of HP technology– comparing photographs printed in similar formats from blurb and lulu, MagCloud outshines the color production, trimming and even minimal branding with the QR label rather than a commercial logo. Artists and photographers are sure to enjoy the new sizes, but there is still a long way to go in terms of format and size options– is there a larger landscape and/or square book format in the works??

Thank you for considering the feedback of your customers!

Has MagCloud considered a lighter weight for its pages, for the Cover and Inside pages? It’s because of postage.
Besides that the printing is great!
